A permit is needed to remove trees that measure 15 cm diameter at breast height (DBH) or larger . Once your form has been successfully submitted you will receive immediate email confirmation. A tree inspector will then contact you to arrange for a site visit.

If you have a development application already in progress with the town, you must provide an arborist report.

An arborist report is required for trees that pose a high safety risk. High risk permit applications received without an arborist report will be reviewed as a tree removal application for a non-high risk tree.
