The Corporation of the Town of Oakville, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 hereby grants the Licensee permission to use the facilities as outlined, subject to the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement contained herein.

Terms and Conditions for Facility Use

  1. All persons on site at any facility governed by the Town shall conduct themselves in an orderly manner, and comply with all laws as laid down by the Municipal, Provincial, or Federal Governments, including but not limited to Parks By-Law 2013-013.
  2. The Rzone is a policy that enforces zero tolerance of violence, vandalism and inappropriate behaviors by participants and the general public. All users, by virtue of their signed agreements for the use of Town facilities, programs and properties are expected to promote, support and endorse the Rzone policy.
  3. The Licensee agrees to indemnify the Town from and against any and all losses, claims, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses whatsoever resulting directly or indirectly from the Licensee or any invitee of the Licensee’s use of the Town facilities pursuant to this agreement. The Licensee acknowledges that it is responsible for any persons permitted on site by the Licensee, and those invitees are subject to the same conditions as the Licensee.
  4. The Licensee acknowledges that the Town is not providing security or supervision of the Town facilities, and the License agrees that the Town shall not be responsible in any way for any loss of life, personal injury or damage to any property belonging to the Licensee or its invitees (including any chattels or plantings in the assigned plot) while such person or property is on the Town facilities.
  5. The Licensee agrees to recompense the Town for any damage to property or equipment that may occur during the Licensee’s occupancy, or because of the use of same. The use of open flame, pyrotechnics or other hazardous materials are prohibited on Town property.
  6. Parking is limited and not guaranteed. Vehicles parking on streets in the vicinity of the permitted park are required to comply with all Town parking regulations. Vehicles are not permitted on any grassed area.
  7. Washrooms may not be available on site.
