Blaze Fire Academy for Young Women

CampMolly

Blaze Fire Academy is the female firefighting leadership program for high school students in Halton Region. Our goal is to provide a fire service introduction and basic working knowledge to females, aged 15 to 18 years, who may not have considered the possibility of pursuing a career in the fire service; because, it is traditionally thought of as a male-dominated field. This program will also include information and experiences related to the following fire service fields: Fire Prevention and Public Education, Training, Fire investigation, Fire Code Enforcement, and Communications.

The last day to submit this application is July 25, 2024 by 4:00 p.m.
