Report illegal dumping of large items on town roads and shoulders, walkways and sidewalks, boulevards and ditches.

Examples of dumped items include household goods such as furniture and appliances, construction-related material, cement and gravel, and large bags of garbage.

Exceptions

Grass Cutting

Exceptions

For grass cutting on a sports field such as a baseball diamond or soccer field, contact ServiceOakville at 905-845-6601.

Report grass concerns on Halton Catholic School Board (905-632-6300) or private school property directly.

Report long grass in town parks in areas other than a sports field.

Please note: The town maintains the grass in parks from May through October. It is cut every two weeks (seasonal and weather dependent). If the grass is wet due to a large amount of rainfall, the mowing schedule can be disrupted.

Report cracks, unevenness, pooling water or shrubs overhanging a sidewalk.

Damage by a Sidewalk Plow

Report damage caused by a sidewalk plow to the sod or curb beside the sidewalk.

Please note: Property owners are responsible for articles placed in the town road allowance. They are also responsible for ensuring driveway curbs meet town specifications. Refer to section 9(k) of the Driveway Permits procedure to learn more.
